Jschool students give journalism course top marks

Survey results from 2015 Jschool students have confirmed the journalism college’s reputation in vocational education.

Head of Jschool Professor John Henningham said the results showed that the newly-developed online course had struck a chord with students.
“All our staff are very happy that student satisfaction is so high,” he said. “No other course has a higher satisfaction level.
It gives us encouragement to work towards further improvements.”
The survey, required under the federal government’s registration and accreditation process, showed that 100 percent of students were satisfied with the Diploma of Journalism and would recommend it to others. Students also said there was strong learning support and that teachers made subjects as interesting as possible.
