Great news that Emma McBryde (Jschool 2010) has won the APN Young Journalist of the Year award. Judges praised her flair for writing, tenacity and sense of purpose.

While she was a journalism student, Emma famously covered then prime minister Julia Gillard’s confrontation with ex-Labor leader Mark Latham at the Brisbane show:
